Our goal is to be Christ's hands and feet in our community. All rising high school freshmen through college freshmen are eligible to serve various communities and receive Christian Service hours, too.
All middle schoolers are invited to join us this month as we spend time reflecting on Jesus' last seven words for Lent. The evening includes snacks, and a fun activity (outdoors, if possible!)
Praying Lent: Renewing Our Lives on the Lenten Journey reminds the reader that if we focus too much on what we give up we may miss the message of what God wants to give us during this grace-filled time.
All parish families are invited to an evening of Lenten activities and prayer time. RSVP's are requested by Wednesday, Feb. 22nd to cover activity supplies and refreshments.
Mark your calendar for the first Fish Fry of the Lenten Season! SFBGS will serve as the school host for the evening. All proceeds will be shared equally by the four participating schools. Thank you for your continued support of Catholic education in our area!
Thank you for your feedback which you provided last weekend for the new draft model from the All Things New strategic planning process. All are invited to come on over to the Grade School cafeteria for breakfast this morning.
Parishioners are requested to review the proposed plan for our region and submit your feedback either at Mass this weekend (Feb. 11/12) or via the Feedback Form by Feb. 16.
All men in our region are encouraged to join us at the Knights of Columbus hall February 16th to hear Deacon Ryan Quarnstrom speak. We hope to see you there!
Men of the parish, you are invited to this powerful conference with nationally recognized speakers. Tickets are still available and carpooling planned.
I encourage you to stop by the Choir Room this weekend after all the Masses to take a look at the new model from the Archdiocese of St. Louis for our Planning Area. Your feedback is welcome and appreciated.
Many thanks to all who participated last week in our Catholic Schools Week celebrations! I encourage you to read the attached announcement from the Strategic Planning Office regarding All Things New and remember to pray for Archbishop Rozanski and his advisors.
