The ornaments on the Giving Trees organized by the SFB Christmas Outreach Ministry provide a special Christmas for many! Please return all gifts by 11AM on Sunday, Dec. 13th for distribution later that day!

This weekend we welcome Archbishop Rozanski to St. Francis Borgia for his first visit to our parish and to our fine town of Washington! Welcome, also, to the Season of Advent!

Our parish quilters have created beautiful, one-of-a-kind quilts, baby quilts and other handiwork that would make the perfect gift for Christmas!

As we prepare for Thanksgiving, as different as it might be this year, I hope and pray that we enjoy this opportunity to give thanks for all the ways that God blesses us as individuals, as families, as a parish family, and as a community.

Come together at Mass this Thanksgiving, whether in church or together in your homes, to offer prayers of thanks for all the ways that God blesses us!

Our local Scouts will be organizing a drop off collection for the much-needed support of our local food pantries. Please donate!

Covid continues to rear its ugly head and touch us in more ways than we would like to see. We have recently had a positive case here among our parish staff.

Thank you for your generous support and patience while Fr. Tony and I were out of service with Covid. A “Winter Homeless Fund” has been established to assist our homeless brothers and sisters in our area who are in need.

We are so grateful for our hometown heroes! Express your gratitude today as the “Heroes Hometown Tour” passes by our Grade School about 2:00 pm today!

Another week has gone by and it seems that Covid has left the rectory, hopefully for good.

Congratulations to our eighth graders who will be confirmed this Thursday. Please keep them in your prayers as they receive this gift of the Holy Spirit!

No one candidate embodies everything that we hold dear as a Church, so no matter who wins an election, we still have work to do to bring Jesus’ message to the world as we confront the issues of our time.
