During Advent, we prepare to celebrate not only the birth of Jesus, but also his presence in our family.

What will be the measure of our joy in heaven?  How much have we strived to cooperate with grace in this life? Let’s encourage one another as we strive together for heaven!

Today begins the season of Advent. What is one aspect of your spiritual life which you would like to improve? 

Archbishop Carlson has asked us to pray for all those affected by this natural disaster and, if possible, to assist in the relief efforts by making a donation this Sunday.

Do you think you have a personal relationship with Jesus? In this week’s FORMED Pick of the Week, Dr. Brant Pitre applies his knowledge of the Jewish roots of Christianity to the very heart of the Gospel: the love of Christ.

Generous donations to our parish Christmas ministry bless those less fortunate.   We are again working with Pregnancy Assistance Center, Loving Hearts, SFB Food Pantry and families from our parish this year.  

This year we invite all parishioners to bring items for donation to our St. Francis Borgia Food Pantry during our Thanksgiving Day masses at 7:00 am & 9:00 am.

You don't need to spend Thanksgiving alone. All are welcomed to share this holiday meal with others. Volunteers for the cafeteria or carry-out drivers are welcome.

The parish and school are sponsoring Santa in the Downtown Washington Holiday Parade Of Lights this year, and families are invited to walk in the parade! 

All those who work or volunteer with or around children in our parish are required to attend this workshop. Register online today!

The proceeds from this Home & School fundraiser will support our grade school in many ways!

Because God, in His Goodness, gave us the power to love, to make choices that matter, to choose Him in a definitive way, then it is also true that God in his Goodness gives us the power to reject Him in a definitive way.
