Glennon Sunday contributions from our Catholic community continue to support and sustain the hospital, keeping them at the forefront of pediatric health care. Your continued prayers and support of Glennon Sunday, where “Faith and Healing Unite” are deeply appreciated!
As we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord into heaven, it was a graduation or promotion given to the Apostles. All of our students who are graduating this week have the expectation that there is something next. For the Apostles, it was Pentecost. For us, it is our Confirmation. Do you ever acknowledge the Holy Spirit in your life? Do you ever pray to the Holy Spirit? Thank you, Jesus, for sending us the Holy Spirit!
As we celebrated Mother’s Day last weekend, we were reminded of how grateful we are for our mothers and others who nurture us in life. Let us pray for our mothers, one another and for our graduates, always thanking God for all our blessings.
Thank you to all the volunteers who have given their time on Sunday mornings to share the Word with our little parishioners. If you would like to become a part of this special ministry to our children, please give us a call!
We are very grateful for our catechists who faithfully shared their wisdom and faith this year with the children of St. Francis Borgia Parish School of Religion. God bless you!
Your support of the Catholic Communications Campaign this weekend will aid in promoting the Faith through effective communications within our Archdiocese. Please be generous!
I want to thank you all for your generosity to our parish in responding to the Annual Catholic Appeal. Please continue to pray daily for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
Our final high school faith sharing night for this year will be Monday evening May 15th. We invite all of our teens to meet at Notre Dame Hall by 6pm. We will hang out for a while and then head to Orange Leaf.
Congratulations to Grant Kandlbinder and Meredith Obermark who were selected as finalists in the 2017 Respect Life Apostolate Creative Writing contest this week!
The Parish School of Religion concluded their school year Wednesday, May 3rd, with a prayer service. The with graders were officially invited to join the high school faith sharing group of the parish called C.R.E.W. We pray for these young Catholics, as we do for all the youth of our parish.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus presents the parable of the Good Shepherd — the kind, loving caretaker who cares for His sheep. The Annual Catholic Appeal is an invitation to lead by example, caring for those in our area through the many ministries and apostolates of the archdiocese.
All children from Preschool thru Second Grade are invited to attend the Children's Liturgy of the Word at either 9:00 am or 11:00 am on Sunday mornings. We are very grateful for our many volunteers who prepare wonderful weekly learning materials for our children.
Our parish offers an excellent PSR program for children who do not attend a fulltime Catholic Elementary School to be formed in the Catholic faith. Registration is underway for the upcoming school year!
