Dear Parishioners,
Covid continues to rear its ugly head and touch us in more ways than we would like to see. We have recently had a positive case here among our parish staff. Christine Piontek, who serves this parish so diligently, just received this news. Please keep Christine and her family in your prayers. Christine will return to us once she has recovered and receives medical clearance.
Thankfully our staff members have been diligent in wearing masks, sanitizing, and keeping a safe distance from each other so we are hopeful that there will be no in-office spread among our staff.
In order to do everything we can to keep our staff safe and meet your needs, we are updating our parish office procedures in light of the pandemic and the increase in cases in our area. First, if you can conduct your business without coming into the office, that will go a long way to keep you and our staff safe. For sales of scrips, please fill out the forms and place them in an envelope that you can drop into the mail slot in the front door of Notre Dame Hall. Or, you can use the new RaiseRight mobile app to place your orders for local and nationwide vendors. A staff member will contact you as soon as your order is ready for pick-up. If you need a form emailed or sent to you or if you have any questions, please send an email to [email protected].
We know that some circumstances dictate the need for you to come into the office. We love to have visitors, but we will ask you to follow these guidelines:
Rest assured we will do everything we can to serve you and your needs in as quick and efficient manner as possible.
I know these restrictions can be difficult, but if we each take some extra precautions we can help to keep others safe as well as help keep ourselves safe. I am not willing to risk the safety of our staff or you, so please abide by these rules if you need to visit the parish office. As we all know, our battle with Covid-19 is temporary and we can all hope and pray that an end will come sooner rather than later to all of this so we can get back to more normal ways of carrying on our lives.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. I will keep you posted with any new information as it is necessary to do so.
Be assured of my prayers for you and your loved ones. And know of my thanks for your support during these extraordinary times. Please say a prayer for our amazing staff and express to them your gratitude for the great work they do everyday.
God bless you and our parish family,
Fr. Mike Boehm
Pastor
