Children's Liturgy of the Word to Resume After Labor Day

Children's Liturgy of the Word is a ministry that we offer to the families of St. Francis Borgia. The volunteers are asked to take the children from Mass prior to the Liturgy of the Word portion of Mass to share the readings that helps them better comprehend what our Lord's message is that Sunday. They then lead a little discussion with the children about how to live out that message.  A handout is provided and they can work on it then if there is time.

Every volunteer is trained and provided with the materials they need to do this ministry.  We would like to resume this ministry after Labor Day.   If you believe you might have an interest in helping once a month at either the 9AM or 11AM Masses, please contact me my phone or email.  I would love to have your help!

Please keep in mind that if you have a high school son or daughter that loves little ones and may be looking for community service, this might be a good place for them to fulfill those hours.
