Contemplative Prayer Group

Terry Lanwermeyer

2nd & 4th Monday 7:00 - 8:30 PM

The Contemplative Prayer Group is a Christian community of people committed to the Christian Contemplative Path in the active world. The ripe fruit of contemplative prayer is to bring back into the humdrum routines of daily life not just the thought of God, but the spontaneous awareness of His abiding presence in everything. Transformation is initiated and sustained through the practice of opening ourselves to the presence and action of Christ in the stillness of our being.

Other activities such as days of prayer, contemplative retreats and spiritual formation are offered through our parent organization, Contemplative Outreach of St. Louis.

Grateful Hearts Prayer Group

Andy & Mary Orf and Chuck & Gloria Aranda

Monday at 7:30 PM in Annex building

Next, we may have a teaching or a scripture given with a time for reflection and sharing after which there will be time for petitions and needs to be brought to the attention of the community. Individuals or the prayer group will make home visits, if requested. The meeting is brought to a close about 9:00pm to allow those that need to leave the freedom to do so.
